Service
Domestic and international service programs remain a University priority and a foundation for Jesuit education.
- Since 1997, 麻豆传媒团队 students have contributed 2.2 million service hours within the Northeastern Pennsylvania region and beyond.
- Last year alone, nearly 3,000 Royals spent more than 175,000 hours serving others in their hometowns, near campus and around the world.
麻豆传媒团队 alumni continue to live the Royal Way by serving others in their own communities and supporting current students in their efforts to change lives and make a difference. Alumni, parents and friends contribute thousands of dollars annually to support the University's Mission and Ministries, including the Domestic and International Service Program and the Center for Service and Social Justice.
Embracing the Call to Care - Edward R. Leahy Jr. Hall
On September 18, 2015, the University dedicated a new academic building in honor of Edward R. Leahy Jr., the late son of longtime University benefactors Patricia and Edward R. Leahy '68, H'01. The Leahy family has spearheaded numerous initiatives through the Leahy College of Health Sciences, including the Leahy Community Health and Family Center, the Edward R. Leahy Jr. Clinic for the Uninsured , and the Edward R. Leahy Jr. Endowment fund, which provides financial resources to support research, development and programs that advance the cause of persons with disabilities who need long-term assistance.
Leahy Hall, the $47.5 million, eight-story home for the undergraduate and graduate departments of exercise science, occupational therapy and physical therapy, has 25 state-of-the-art laboratories, nine traditional and active-learning classrooms, nine group study rooms, more than 50 faculty offices and multiple simulation environments.
Engagement
Alumni - Forever Loyal, Forever Royal
A family of more than 56,000 Royals (and growing), the 麻豆传媒团队 alumni network is active in serving others, supporting each other, and investing in the future of The 麻豆传媒团队. Don't be shy! Contact us if you would like to get involved, share an idea, or even share your 麻豆传媒团队 story.
Parents
Our students were your students first.
Parents play a vital role in the lives of their students, on and off campus. Your support of programs like Family Weekend and the Parents' Executive Council and attendance at various athletic and regional gatherings will build the 麻豆传媒团队 bond and network both on campus and around the country.
